Changes that were made to the redesigned voucher were the discount (5% to 3%), the logo (from F1rst Tax and Duty Free to Dufry) and colour (green to red).
The overall design was aimed towards Chinese customers as they are the predominant users of the voucher. There was a focus on including Chinese text with minimal English, to make it easier for them to understand.

The new design is on brand with Dufry with the use of the colour red. A bright colour corner is used to distinguish between the dollar values. The colour used was associated with the colour of the $10 bank note.
